The Little Black Dress Workout
There are certain areas that we all seem to want to change on our bodies. Tighter triceps. More toned biceps. Fuller chest. More toned back. Fixing our “verandas”. Getting rid of the flab on our arms and back.
The Little Black Dress Workout is a selection of my favorite exercises that will bring out the tone, lift posture and tighten up all the right places of our upper back, arms, shoulders and chest - all the areas that shows when we wear those flirty summer dresses, when we wear tube tops, tank tops, sleeveless blouses and dresses, any time of the year, and when we wear - most often of all - a little black dress.
I like instant gratification. Some of these exercises are gym standards that I tweaked, some are “Summer-Fit” originals. My incentive is to get to the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow - the results we want - as soon as possible. And you will see results almost immediately, but to maintain and further improve upon them requires consistency. Also, keeping a keen eye on form and keeping a proper "thinking pattern" for the exercises is just as important.
There are many exercises in this workout. Thankfully, you do not have to do them all in the same session - just get all of them in every week. Mix and match every workout and try to keep it even when it comes to how many of each you do(unless you can tell you are lacking/feel weak in certain areas - give yourself some attention and rebuild that). You can also super set some of these with other types of exercises - for example do the chest stroops pumps after bench or dumbell presses.
